Gus Bonic is a multifaceted producer and accomplished musician whose influence has echoed across the globe over his twenty year career.

Formally trained at the esteemed, Boston-based Berklee Music College, that boasts alumni such as John Mayer and Quincy Jones, Gus has established himself as an in-demand session musician for the most revered bands in Australian music history.

 

His highly regarded talent has earned him a place as an in-demand guitarist and session musician amongst Australia’s most iconic bands, such as INXS who personally invited him to support them during the European leg of their 2007 World Tour. 

 

During his illustrious 20 year career, Gus has also supported the Hunters and Collectors, Silverchair, Midnight Oil, Grinspoon and The Whitlams.

 

In 1996, Gus graduated with a degree from The School of Audio Engineering. This cemented him as not only a bonafide talent, but as a highly sought after producer in the Australian music scene. 

 

Aria and Emmy Award winning Engineer Brent Clark, who has produced for Midnight Oil and Alanis Morisette describes Gus as a "highly accomplished musician with a good sense of how to get great results in the studio.”

 

His ability to create unique soundscapes that compliment a musician's vision has seen Gus venerated by his peers.
